Vocational Specialist Care Coordinator

Kitsap Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Vocational Specialist Care Coordinator to join our FACT team. As a key member of our team, you will provide time-limited services to clients most impacted by symptoms of mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and provide work-related supportive services, including symptom management, grooming assistance, transportation, and job site support.
  • Offer ongoing support for job retention and educational programs while assisting clients in managing symptoms.
  • Provide onsite job coaching and hands-on assistance in navigating educational resources for long-term stability.
  • Engage and motivate clients to explore interests and aptitudes, completing interest inventories or assessments.
  • Document client progress, demonstrating relevance of vocational/educational support to treatment goals.
  • Participate in staff meetings, treatment planning review meetings, and crisis intervention as directed.
  • Assist clients in building skills for independent living and reducing substance use through a harm reduction approach.
  • Coordinate with team members, Mobile Crisis Outreach, and law enforcement officials when necessary.
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards for the position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field.
  • Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing vocational rehabilitation, supported employment, or workforce re-entry services to individuals experiencing mental health disorders.
