Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry procedures with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and minimizing stress and discomfort.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to determine their needs and wishes, and provide clear explanations of physical examination findings and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that prioritize preventative health care, including vaccinations and nutritional products.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client/patient medical records and assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of patients.
  • Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Collaborate with the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
