Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography procedures, including 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies
  • Interpret results and provide preliminary interpretations to healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including echo studies
  • Assist supervising physicians with training and education of residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest echocardiography technology and platforms
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program)
