We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Believe Therapies LLC. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an engaged and creative speech team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Perform initial evaluations to establish a plan of care for medically necessary speech language services.
  • Train new speech therapy team members on job post functions and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent care.
  • Ensure that each client meets a minimum of 2 therapy goals monthly and that other ongoing goals are being updated in a timely manner by completing monthly progress notes.
  • Perform re-evaluations to update a plan of care and document a need for medically necessary speech language services.
  • Provide direct or indirect supervision to meet licensing requirements of the speech team.
  • Provide the highest quality of service through a caring, compassionate, and empathetic demeanor to all clients and families.
  • Manage the speech therapy plan of care and documentation for ST clients within company timelines.
  • Complete client success stories as goals are obtained.
  • Receiving positive parent questionnaires upon a yearly assessment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and skills to assess, plan, and evaluate interventions.
  • Complete discharge summaries as the clients complete or terminate their plan of care.
  • Identify the need for an internal referral to another discipline within the company and address this with the client/family and follow the internal referral process.
  • Work with other health care professions, providing education and training as required.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act) and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain safety of clients and staff by following all cleaning policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager for clinical in-services and continuing education as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed as required in Texas and maintain current CPR certification and vaccinations.
  • A supervisor must have at least two years of professional experience in providing direct client services (that may include the clinical fellow year) of full-time experience and completed 2 hours of professional development in supervision.

Salary Description

$39 - $52+ Per hour
