About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at BRIA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with doctors, residents, and family members to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Manage department budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in long-term care.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Illinois in good standing.
  • Proficiency in medical software and equipment, including PointClickCare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and families.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate complex care situations.
