Job Title: LPN-Assisted Living Unit Manager

Peaceful Pines Senior Living is seeking a skilled LPN-Assisted Living Unit Manager to join our team in Rapid City. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, while also supervising care staff and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Promote and support a positive work environment focused on team building and collaboration.
  • Provide on-call support in a rotation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
  • Ensure that all the needs are met for the residents as well as supervise staff that is on the shift.
  • Ensure that any incident reports are completed properly and promptly.
  • Prepare necessary medical paperwork for all scheduled resident appointments.
  • Assist with compliance in meeting regulations and is available for state licensure surveys.
  • Maintain resident files and appropriate documents as required.
  • Scans and uploads all documentation to the electronic medical record.
  • Assist with medication administration and inventory management.
  • Assist with scheduling care conferences and updating care plans.
  • Develop and update nursing policy drafts.
  • Obtain, administer, and document prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Monitor resident behavior, medications, and conditions of health.
  • Complete resident evaluations.
  • Enter and monitor labs.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare software.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in an assisted living community.
  • Holds an active and unencumbered LPN license.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as an LPN in a healthcare facility.
Benefits:
  • FT, non-exempt, (potential to be exempt or salaried), hourly employee of Peaceful Pines Senior Living.
  • Generally, 40 hours per week. From time-to-time additional hours may be required for special projects, covering shifts, or for increased workload, which may include weekends or holidays.

  • $32.00/Hour Depending on Experience
