Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Care Specialist to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. As a Cardiovascular Care Specialist, you will provide direct day-to-day care of patients and families, practicing to the fullest extent of your license in accordance with organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide care specific to ages and developmental needs of adult and geriatric patients
- Manage acute cardiac care patients and invasive lines, including carotid & femoral surgeries, appropriate interventions, therapies, and expected outcomes
- Work 12-hour shifts (7A and 7P)
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS Certification
- One year acute cardiovascular care experience or other comparable nursing experience
- ASLS certification preferred
