Position Summary:
DG Partnership is in search of a Wealth Management Consultant possessing CFP or ChFC & Series 65 for a full-time, on-site role. This position is not focused on sales but rather on delivering outstanding service to our clientele.
The selected candidate will serve as the lead advisor within our Wealth Management Team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a clean U4 and background check, alongside a minimum of 3 years' experience in client investment and financial planning. A CFP or ChFC designation (or nearing completion) and Series 65 is mandatory. A passion for the financial planning profession and a commitment to assisting clients in achieving their financial aspirations is essential. Proficiency in financial planning software and SalesForce is required. We seek a dedicated professional who aims for long-term career growth within our esteemed and rapidly expanding firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team focused on delivering excellence in comprehensive wealth management.
- Provide scheduled portfolio reviews and holistic financial planning advice.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests.
- Offer ongoing advisory services to clients – this is not a sales-oriented role.
- Collect and update client financial data efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of client information, including financial statements and investment portfolios.
- Manage financial software, including client data input and management.
- Maintain and update client profiles within the software platform.
- Generate reports and analyses to support client meetings and presentations.
- Conduct financial analyses covering portfolios, insurance, tax, estate, retirement, and asset protection.
- Explore opportunities for paid education and career advancement, including roles in management, advanced wealth specialization, and business development.
Mentorship and Training:
- Enhance your wealth management practice through extensive training and mentorship from a team of experienced CFPs/CFAs.
- Engage in advanced estate planning and trust design.
- Participate in sophisticated and customized portfolio management.
- Receive training in rigorous retirement planning and income modeling.
- Learn proactive tax reduction strategies and structural asset protection planning.
- Develop skills to coordinate clients' wealth plans and collaborate with internal legal and tax teams.
Career Development:
- Comprehensive orientation training lasting over 90 days while familiarizing yourself with clients, followed by ongoing advanced training.
- Management of client portfolios with support from paraplanners.
- Opportunities for advancement to C-level positions or specialized planning roles.

Performance Metrics:
- Deliver timely quarterly portfolio reviews and financial planning advice.
- Engage in two-way communication with clients each quarter.
- Document and manage planning tasks to completion, including recap communications with clients.
- Respond to client service requests promptly.
- Oversee your support team to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
- Facilitate appropriate referrals for estate, tax, and asset protection services.
- Encourage the conversion of client assets to management.
- Generate new client referrals from existing clients.
Qualifications:
- CFP designation completed or nearing completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services sector, preferably in a client-facing capacity.
- Possession of Series 65 or Series 66 license.
- Familiarity with investment solutions and financial planning strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with investment software.
- Experience with financial planning software such as Money Guide Pro is preferred.
