About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center's Medicine II unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions and health needs to develop personalized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and open communication with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures
  • Advocate for patients' rights and coordinate their care within the healthcare system
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing
  • Current North Carolina nursing license or multi-state/compact license
  • Commitment to continuous growth and development, with a minimum of one year relevant experience preferred
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and mentorship
