Job Summary

The Bakery Department at Shop N Save is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive top-quality products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bakery Operations: Bake a variety of products, including cookies, cakes, pies, bread, and other items as needed.
  • Preparation and Presentation: Prepare frozen products for the oven and maintain the presentation of our bakery cases, prep area, floors, and coolers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance and perform preventative maintenance on all company equipment in the bakery department.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist workers in other departments when necessary and cooperate with other departments on inter-departmental or store-wide sales promotions.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure they meet our high standards and perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of baking preparations and steps to accomplish them.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and ability to follow them.
