Job Title: Residential Driver

Waste Pro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Driver to join our team. As a Residential Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling.
  • Oversee the work of helpers assisting on assigned routes.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning.
  • Ensure garbage and recyclables are picked up and transferred properly.
  • Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean truck and wash the exterior weekly.
  • Perform manual duties in the clean-up of scattered refuse.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit required company and regulation-mandated reports and documents.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift independently (unassisted) 50 pounds from the ground to waist height between 800 and 1000 times a day.
  • Must be able to work 8 to 12 hours in extreme weather conditions.
Work Environment:

Works in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations.
