Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Lakewood Meadows in Lakewood, WA. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our properties, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on properties, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.
  • Assist in maintaining the exterior grounds and providing excellent curb appeal.
  • Diagnose problems and repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, and appliances.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in property management maintenance or a related trade.
  • Technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for on-call maintenance rotation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English required.
  • General computer skills, including operating a mobile device required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Estimated Rate of Pay

$26.29

This position is non-exempt, and the range above reflects hourly rates. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location, and job complexity. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds.
