Job Description

As a nursing care specialist at Bethesda Health, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care consistent with your educational training. You will adhere to established standards of nursing practices and organizational policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • An education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in licensure as an LPN or RN
  • Long-term care/rehab/assisted living experience preferred
  • A current license in the state where you will be working
  • IV certification required or willingness to obtain within six months
  • CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain within six months
  • The ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors, and staff
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking skills
