Job Overview

We offer a competitive salary of $43,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, prescription, and life insurance, 403b plan, daily pay, bonuses, career advancement opportunities, and holiday pay.

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility, while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families;
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and vital signs;
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care;
  • Maintain a positive rapport with patients and their families, ensuring that all care is tailored to meet individual needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment;
  • CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment;
  • Long-term care experience preferred;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards;
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time;
  • Able to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary;
  • Able to transfer and move patients who vary in ability to assist weighing 200+lbs using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary;
  • Able to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 40lbs using proper techniques and with assistance when necessary;
  • Manual dexterity, coordination, and skillful use of hands when working with patients and equipment;
  • Able to physically perform necessary documentation in writing or use of tape recorder;
  • Visual acuity with ability to distinguish color.
