Position: Renewable Energy Sales Specialist

Devlin Energy is a locally owned electrical contracting firm dedicated to providing exceptional service across all six New England States. Established in 2009, we initially focused on electrical contracting but shifted our expertise to solar energy solutions in 2010, capitalizing on the growing demand in the renewable energy sector. Our commitment to quality workmanship and compliance has positioned us as leaders in solar construction.

We are currently looking to expand our in-house Sales Team with a Renewable Energy Sales Specialist who will concentrate on solar and battery storage solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong customer-oriented approach, be outgoing, and have a drive to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Previous experience in sales within the solar or construction sectors, along with a proven success record, is highly desirable. Skills in direct outreach, such as door-to-door sales, are advantageous but not mandatory.

Note: This is a full-time, in-office role with a schedule of Monday to Friday. Candidates unable to commit to this schedule are encouraged to reconsider their application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all clients.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition of post-sale activities to relevant teams by providing comprehensive customer information.
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial prospecting to installation, ensuring timely follow-ups with leads and consultations.
  • Collaborate with management to evaluate and enhance marketing and sales strategies.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to address customer needs.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends by participating in meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Oversee accounts from the first consultation through to installation.
  • Collect referrals from satisfied clients.
