We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds. Your primary duties will include:

* Maintaining the daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparing vacant units for occupancy
* Maintaining and keeping an inventory of all supplies and equipment
* Ensuring necessary tools are on hand
* Reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
* Maintaining the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
* Operating within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times
* Being available to work on an on-call basis
* Securing the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
* Removing snow and ice as necessary
* Handling all lock-outs as a result of evictions and taking responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Requirements for this role include:

* Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
* Effective communication skills
* Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
* Property maintenance/handyman experience
