Position Summary:

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, your primary responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within commercial environments. Core Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, delivering efficient and effective solutions.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure peak system performance and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Stay informed about advancements in HVAC technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, particularly with commercial systems.
  • Familiarity with brands such as Daikin, McQuay, AAON, Haakon, Omega, Valent, and Xetex Mitsubishi is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical capabilities.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system components.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulations pertinent to HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are preferred.
