In the role of Maintenance Specialist, you will oversee the comprehensive upkeep of the community. Your responsibilities will ensure that our residents receive prompt and high-quality maintenance services and exceptional customer care.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain clear communication with the maintenance supervisor regarding maintenance issues and the progress of work orders.

Ensure the interior and exterior of the property are well-maintained, which includes tasks such as litter collection, cleaning communal areas, sweeping or shoveling pathways, and applying salt to icy surfaces.

Efficiently paint, clean, and repair all vacant units to a high standard and within a timely manner.

Physical Requirements:


While executing the duties of this position, the individual will be consistently active on-site, moving, constructing, and dismantling objects.

The role often requires navigating tight and confined spaces.

Occasionally, the individual will operate office equipment such as computers, calculators, copy machines, and fax machines.

Effective communication with tenants and colleagues is essential. The employee must regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 100 pounds. The individual should be capable of reviewing their work for accuracy and making necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or GED or equivalent);
  • 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance is preferred; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • CPO and EPA/HVAC certifications are preferred.
