About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. in Apple Valley, MN. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
  • Perform technician duties, such as measuring and recording patient stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership.
  • Develop long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
  • Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb.
  • Flexibility and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
