Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Sustainability Consulting Services to enhance our Sustainability Services offerings. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy and direction of our sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with clients' missions and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive Sustainability Services strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to assist clients in various sectors in enhancing their sustainability practices through data analytics and insights.
3. Monitor sustainability performance metrics and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
4. Act as Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert during client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to craft tailored solutions that address climate and sustainability challenges.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports on sustainability performance and progress to stakeholders.
7. Foster relationships with external parties, including investors and regulatory bodies.
8. Contribute to thought leadership by publishing research, participating in industry conferences, and supporting internal educational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related fields, with a preference for consulting experience.
- Proven track record in sustainability strategy development and implementation.
- Experience managing corporate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory data and sustainability KPI measurement.
- Familiarity with sustainability software and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of compliance with sustainability disclosure requirements.
- Strong project management skills, including planning and coordinating resources effectively.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to travel as required.
