Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy with communication to the physician and healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide airway management and administration of nebulized medications
  • Manage secretions and apply oxygen therapy
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate therapy effectiveness
  • Communicate with physician and healthcare team
Requirements
  • 1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Preferred
  • Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist Required - And NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Registered Respiratory Therapist Required - Within 1 Year of Hire
Work Schedule

3 days, 12 hour shifts, with every third weekend and call requirements.
