Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Support Staff Technician to join our team at Meridian Health Services. As a Support Staff Technician, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support and services to our dental office in Portland, IN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication with patients, staff, and the general public.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments, and take messages as needed.
  • Collect patient co-pays and process payments at registration.
  • Retrieve medical records from outside providers and create medical records for new patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of dental office experience required.
  • Two years of secretarial/office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical setting strongly preferred.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to type and/or use a computer for data entry and telephone duties.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
