As a Support Staff Technician, you will provide administrative support and services to our patients and staff. Your expertise and professionalism will be essential in maintaining a professional, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Communication and consultation with center staff, clients, and the general public
* Answering incoming telephone calls and scheduling/rescheduling appointments
* Collecting patient co-pays and payments at registration and general cashier duties
* Retrieving medical records from outside providers and creating medical record charts for new patients
Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* 6 months dental experience required
* Two years secretarial/office experience preferred
* Previous experience in a medical setting strongly preferred
* Computer proficiency and ability to type and/or use computer in order to complete data entry and telephone duties
* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
* A valid driver's license with a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
