Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at East Falls Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment, including sterilization and maintenance of supplies.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals to the practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire date.
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials are highly preferred.
