We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer - Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Chenega Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Install, repair, and maintain various mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, and motors.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor License issued by the Division of Consumer Affairs.
- New Jersey Low Pressure Boiler License.
- HVAC CFC Certification.
- Minimum three (3) years of mechanical and electrical maintenance helper experience within past three (3) years.
- Completion of technical school or comparable training such as military and industry programs is preferred.
- Experience working with equipment similar to that at Edison.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
- The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
