Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Chenega Corporation. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance on a variety of equipment, systems, and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lab equipment, HVAC systems, and other mechanical systems.
  • Operate and maintain complex systems, including heat, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and steam or high-temperature water systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and plumbing equipment, including pumps, air compressors, and miscellaneous mechanical items.
  • Install and repair environmental-control systems in office buildings and other commercial establishments.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor License issued by the Division of Consumer Affairs.
  • New Jersey Low Pressure Boiler License.
  • HVAC CFC Certification.
  • Minimum three years of mechanical and electrical maintenance helper experience within the past three years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of technical school or comparable training, such as military and industry programs.
  • Experience working with equipment similar to that at Edison.
