Maintains and coordinates timely policies and procedures maintenance, review/revision, posting and distribution. Organizes and maintains systematic data collection and flow of information between departments and into applicable committees.
Responsibilities- Tracks renewal dates of policies and procedures to ensure timely notification of owners for review.
- Ensures receipt of reviewed policies and procedures for timely posting.
- Notifies appropriate management staff when posting of policies and procedures is completed.
- Organizes and maintains Department and Committee Quality and Regulatory Reporting Calendar to ensure timely and compliant reporting.
- Notifies owner of report in a timely manner to facilitate receipt of report for appropriate meeting.
- Develops, coordinates and maintains Medical Necessity Review Calendar.
- Establishes good working relationships with Medical Staff and Facility Staff.
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement as required.
