About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tennis Stringing Specialist to join our Pro Shop team at IMG Academy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and promoting our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers, provide product information, and assist with purchases.
  • Racquet Stringing: String and service racquets to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest tennis equipment and technology.
  • Merchandising: Assist with visual merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets, and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably in the tennis industry.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: USRSA Certified Stringer (CS) or Master Racquet Technician (MRT) certification.
  • Language: Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, move, and push equipment or boxes up to 40lbs.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent customer interactions and exposure to tennis equipment and technology.
