Position Overview:
The Tennis Equipment Specialist will be responsible for delivering expert stringing services and ensuring that our tennis supplies meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer tailored support to meet the unique tennis requirements of each student.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in stringing technology.
  • Possess knowledge of various string types, patterns, and racquets.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure access to the latest equipment.

  • Engage with professional athletes and junior players on a daily basis.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and utilize effective selling techniques.
  • Assist in the execution of merchandising strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of visual merchandising and customer service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service aligned with the organization's core values.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized sales area, restocking as necessary.
  • Adhere to cash handling protocols and complete necessary financial documentation.
  • Recommend items for re-order based on inventory needs.
  • Support inventory management and product receiving processes.
  • Comply with all company policies and ethical standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Strong foundational knowledge of tennis-related retail products.
  • Ability to efficiently string and service a high volume of racquets.
  • Experience in a tennis-focused retail environment.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Multi-lingual capabilities.
  • Certification as a Stringer (USRSA).
  • Master Racquet Technician (MRT) certification.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing over 40 lbs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions.
  • Flexibility to navigate different areas of the facility.
  • Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
