About the Role

At Shift Technologies, Inc., we're revolutionizing the car buying experience. As a Photography Associate, you'll play a crucial role in capturing high-quality images of our inventory, ensuring our customers receive an accurate representation of the vehicles they're interested in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture professional photos of vehicles, including interior and exterior shots, using DSLR cameras and photo management software.
  • Ensure consistency in wear and tear photos, matching defects noted on our condition reports.
  • Upload photo sets to Dropbox and SpinCar applications, and manually tag damage photos in SpinCar.
  • Reshoot photos as directed by the Photo Manager or Recon Manager.
  • Collaborate with our offshore site quality team to maintain quality standards.
  • Act as a final quality control check, ensuring vehicles meet our damage standards before photo shoots.
  • Assess the quality of reconditioning, evaluating if repairs were complete and meet our standards.
  • Maintain a clean working environment, adhering to daily upkeep standards.
  • Meet daily and weekly photo targets set by the Photography Manager and local Reconditioning Manager.
Requirements
  • At least one year of photography experience using DSLR cameras and basic photo software (Canon cameras a plus).
  • Verified experience working in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive manual.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, both in person and over email/Slack.
  • Ability to follow directions from the Photo lead and Recon managers.
