Banquet Houseperson Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review event orders and assignment sheets to determine function requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness standards and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
  • Communicate promptly with guests and team members to ensure seamless event execution
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of events, including tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment
  • Report any issues or concerns to supervisors or managers in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience as a Set Houseperson in a high-volume, upscale hotel
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 pounds, and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
