Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N) in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of experience in a dialysis setting or a related field.
