Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the daily retail functions of the store, focusing on sales performance, customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a welcoming and efficient sales experience on the sales floor to meet sales targets and provide outstanding service.
  • Engage with in-store customers to cultivate and maintain a loyal client base, driving sales growth.
  • Assist in formulating and executing strategies aimed at enhancing sales and achieving key performance metrics.
  • Support the recruitment and training of a team of assistant managers and customer experience-oriented associates.
  • Guide and mentor the team to ensure adherence to customer service standards and company policies.
  • Organize and oversee in-store events, marketing campaigns, and customer relationship management activities to encourage repeat business.
  • Implement product placement and visual merchandising strategies to optimize space and boost sales.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including product receipts, transfers, and returns.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring both customer-facing areas and stock spaces are well-kept.
  • Promote a collaborative and productive work environment.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experienced with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Knowledgeable in back-office operations management.
  • Skilled in visual merchandising techniques.
  • Able to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to make independent decisions or escalate issues as necessary.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
