Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist-Radiation Therapy to join our team at Capital Medical Center. This is an ideal opportunity for a radiation therapy professional to deliver external beam radiation therapy and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will accurately and safely deliver prescribed radiation therapy, observe patients for unusual physical and psychological reactions, and report observations immediately to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or Radiation Oncology physician. Additionally, they will maintain daily treatment schedules and work cooperatively with physicians, physics staff, and front office staff for scheduling treatment times, simulations, and diagnostic studies.

Requirements: A graduate of an accredited Radiation Technology program, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy, and certified as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Washington are essential qualifications. The ideal candidate must also possess AIDS certification for healthcare workers and CPR certification.

What We Offer: We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
