Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Westchester Country Club. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our members, guests, and employees. This is a full-time position available for both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for all members, guests, and employees by conducting routine patrols, monitoring surveillance cameras, and responding to incidents.
  • Enforce parking regulations and issue summonses as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, accidents, and policy violations.
  • Compose incident reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to identify and rectify safety and fire hazards.
  • Provide First Aid and CPR assistance as needed.
  • Operate the Security Management computer system, Fire/Burglary Alarm system, and IP camera surveillance system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, or relevant experience and/or training.
  • Relevant experience in a hotel/hospitality setting is a plus.
  • Computer literacy and ability to operate relevant systems.
  • Ability to type clear and concise reports.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • First Aid/CPR/Defibrillator certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to meet scheduling needs.
