Key Responsibilities:
  • Decontaminate and sterilize medical equipment and supplies using various methods, including steam and gas sterilizers.
  • Clean and inspect equipment and supplies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Assemble and package equipment and supplies for distribution to healthcare facilities.
  • Operate and maintain sterilizing equipment, including steam and gas sterilizers.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of processed equipment and supplies.
  • Perform quality control checks on processed equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest sterilization techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification required.
  • Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) Certification required.
  • Associates Degree in a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift greater than 50 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
