Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Home Health

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality home health care services to clients in Calvert County.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to work with our multidisciplinary team in delivering rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide speech therapy services to clients in their homes, including assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care and develop treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
