Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Optician to join our team at Sam\u0027s Club. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up displays, and organizing product displays.
  • Operates hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Sells optical products and services by assisting members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
