Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with global teams from Enterprise Systems, Trading Infrastructure, Trading Operations, and Trading departments to oversee the Virtual Infrastructure across various locations.
  • Take ownership of the Virtual Infrastructure and associated components, emphasizing performance and stability.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and monitor tailored virtualization and storage solutions utilizing contemporary technologies.
  • Oversee the US Virtual enterprise environment, including operating system/application patching, lifecycle management, security vulnerability resolution, and disaster preparedness.
  • Manage and cultivate vendor and industry relationships to uphold Flow Traders' leading-edge position in enterprise technology.
Qualifications for Success
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Innovative thinking with the capability to devise creative solutions for intricate challenges.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience with VMware operations automation and monitoring solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with hardware related to ESXi hosts (Lenovo M5, SR620, SR650, Dell740) is preferred.
