Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with setting up dining areas and preparing meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions.
  • Collaborate with the cook to prepare and serve meals, meeting scheduled meal times and following established policies and procedures.
  • Deliver meal carts, set and clean assigned dining areas, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators and wash and store dishes.
Requirements
  • 1 year of food service experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of staff and residents.
  • Desire to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
  • Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks.
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
