Job Summary
The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the maintenance team at Waste Pro USA by overseeing the scheduling of preventive maintenance, ordering parts, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedules and coordinates preventive maintenance for Waste Pro vehicles, ensuring timely completion and minimal downtime.
2. Orders and procures necessary parts and materials for maintenance services, working closely with the shop manager to ensure efficient inventory management.
3. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including repair orders, safety lane forms, and DVIRs.
4. Enters maintenance-related data into the system daily, verifying the information entered by mechanics to ensure accuracy.
5. Assists the shop manager in reviewing maintenance staff time cards, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
6. Produces and distributes productivity and usage reports to management, providing valuable insights into maintenance operations.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy truck parts or refuse truck parts, with a strong understanding of maintenance operations and inventory management.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and adapt to Waste Pro's proprietary software applications.
3. High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities with speed and accuracy.
