JOB SUMMARY:
A prominent healthcare institution in the Raleigh/Durham, NC region is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Managed Care Contracting to enhance their financial team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Senior Financial Analyst for Managed Care Contracting is responsible for overseeing the collection of data, developing financial models, and generating customized financial reports utilizing various database systems for the Managed Care division.
  • The financial models and reports produced are crucial for contract negotiations, auditing processes, and validating claim payments, thereby supporting senior leadership in informed decision-making.
  • This position also entails maintaining and auditing existing financial models within the EPSi database system to ensure precise reporting, as well as investigating discrepancies in claim payments and participating in various departmental projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree in Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with a focus on Financial Analysis or Reimbursement.
  • Experience in hospital finance is essential.
