Job Summary:

The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Creative Arts Therapist to join our team. As a School-Based Visual Arts Therapist, you will work with middle school students who have experienced anxiety, trauma, depression, post-traumatic stress, and other behavioral or mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify students in need of trauma support and provide prevention, screening, referral, and treatment services.
Provide trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions using creative arts modalities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
Registered Arts Therapist (ATR or ATR-BC) certification.
Expertise in providing creative arts therapy to all age groups and proficiency in numerous clinical interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Strong trauma intervention skills and knowledge of community resources.

Work Environment:
One or more school locations during the academic school year; virtual services, home, and community locations during the summers.

Travel:
Travel to designated school, homes, and community settings within the school district.
