About the Position

This role serves as a key member of the National Transportation Safety Board's Digital Services Division, working in collaboration with senior audiovisual production specialists to develop high-quality visual content that supports the agency's mission-related products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of visual information projects to effectively communicate agency messaging.
  • Provide videography and photography services for internal and external agency events, including investigation launches.
  • Support the Go-Team for SRC, capturing video and still photos of launches and investigative activities.
  • Ensure technical support for press briefings and press conferences, including recording, editing, and posting video content to the agency's video channel.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience operating audiovisual equipment to support organizational events.
  • Experience maintaining a diverse range of audiovisual equipment.
  • Experience providing video streaming support for various organizations.
  • Experience performing a variety of duties associated with video productions.
  • Experience using industry-standard software to create professional audiovisual products.
Working Conditions

The work involves occasional solo travel to accident scenes, requiring extensive walking, standing, bending, and crouching. The incumbent must be available for occasional deployment to transportation accident sites, which may involve exposure to long hours in austere environments.
