Position Summary

This role serves as the technical authority for the deployment and upkeep of automated warehouse systems, overseeing a team of maintenance personnel to ensure optimal operation of automated systems and facility functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the installation and upkeep of new warehouse technologies and equipment
  • Track key performance metrics and assess the performance of new technologies
  • Guarantee that automated warehouse systems are consistently operational
  • Establish a robust preventative maintenance program for all automation, conveyors, and associated systems
  • Guide, mentor, and supervise a team of employees
  • Procure and manage supplies and equipment, maintaining necessary inventory levels
  • Educate direct reports and other warehouse personnel on automated systems
  • Plan and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities, developing an efficient response system for emergency repairs
  • Adapt to varying hours and shifts as needed to sustain operations
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, preferably in electrical engineering
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • OSHA training/certification
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
    • Certified Technical Professional (CTP)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, including electrical safety, fire safety, IPE, and confined spaces
Physical Requirements
  • Physical demands involve significant walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of items up to 50 lbs
