Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer Position

Job Summary:
Oakland University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coach to join our Women's Soccer team. The successful candidate will assist in administering an educationally sound competitive soccer program for female student-athletes, within the rules and policies of the Conference and NCAA legislated guidelines.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of the women's soccer program's goals and objectives.
- Recruit and retain talented student-athletes to the program.
- Assist in the coaching and development of student-athletes.
- Assist in the administration of the program, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of collegiate soccer coaching experience required.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, administrative, and recruiting skills sets.
- Experience with NCAA Rules and Regulations.
- Ability to be involved with the overall operation of the program, including coaching, recruiting, administration, compliance, and student-athlete development.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid vehicle operator's license and a driving record acceptable to the university by the university's insurance carrier.
- Three (3) years of collegiate coaching experience.
- Recruiting experience in Michigan and surrounding region.
- Knowledge of Advanced Analytics.
- Understanding of Positional Play Soccer.
- Master's degree with education and/or experience in leadership or coaching.
