Job Description

TruGreen is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Content Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our marketing and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that builds brand awareness, engagement, and leads.
  • Write and produce high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, and videos.
  • Utilize audience insights to create tailored content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for search engines to enhance organic visibility and improve search rankings.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, managing content production timelines and ensuring consistent output.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to align content with social media strategies and ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.
  • Maintain brand consistency and messaging throughout all content, adhering to our company's core values and voice.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create holistic content campaigns that drive results.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to ensure clear communication, shared goals, and effective campaign execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in content marketing with a strong background in content strategy and creation.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work.
  • Highly creative with a discerning eye for detail and excellent storytelling skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding lead acquisition goals.
  • Articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify operational gaps and implement solutions.
  • Highly analytical and technical thinker, with proven experience in analyzing complex data to identify trends and opportunities.
