About the Role:
The Production Shift Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage production teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall performance.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with production management to align departmental initiatives with plant operational goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum two-year certificate from college or technical school in Management or related program preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years progressive experience in the role(s) you are supervising. Previous degree or supervisory experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment preferred.
