Job Summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a skilled Dining Systems Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality and nutrition services team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient meal service, ensuring employees are adequately trained, and overseeing the proper staffing of units to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient meal service, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery, and special requests
  • Ensure employees are adequately trained and units are properly staffed to provide service
  • Oversee systems and processes to ensure strategic and operational objectives are accomplished
  • Assist in the selection and orientation of employees and oversee training of Dining on Call staff
  • Evaluate patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval process on a daily basis
  • Responsive to patient needs at all times, resolving concerns or complaints immediately
  • Comply with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of hospitality or patient service experience and at least two years of experience in a leadership position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
