Spherion Staffing is seeking skilled drivers in various locations across Indiana. As a vital member of the Driver Team, the Driver is essential in facilitating our members' access to necessary care, always adhering to established client policies and procedures.

$2500 SIGN-ON Bonus * $1000 payable after 90 days and $1500 after 6 months, provided there are no at-fault accidents.

New hires must not miss any scheduled workdays within the first 90 days of employment to qualify for the hiring bonus, including requested days off.

Wage:
$16.5/hr with potential for an increase after 90 days. Night differential pay is available.

Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri 4am-1pm
Must be available for on-call trips outside of regular hours, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport members to and from designated locations as required.
• Proactively review assigned trips using a tablet or alternative method to plan daily schedules and ensure timely transportation according to appointment schedules.
• Complete and submit daily driver logs and any other required documentation promptly. Accurately record hours using a remote time clock.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, dispatch staff, mechanics, and other personnel to update or escalate issues as necessary.
• Ensure daily vehicle inspections are performed. Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor and mechanic.
• Schedule regular and preventative vehicle maintenance with mechanics based on company mileage requirements. Immediately report any unusual mechanical issues to the supervisor and mechanic.
• Interact appropriately with all internal staff and external contacts.
• Uphold a professional demeanor with members in accordance with company standards, including courtesy, a positive attitude, professional communication, and appropriate attire.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Required Skills:

• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in patient care is a plus
• Positive attitude
• Familiarity with the Indianapolis area and surroundings

Experience:

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid driver's license (Indiana Licensing)
• Experience in driving or the transportation industry
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening at all times.
• Maintain a clean driving record with no DUIs, OWIs, points, suspensions, or other negative results.
• Proficient in using transportation technology solutions.
• Basic knowledge of cell phones, computer hardware, and software.
